Class Offerings

At Positively Pilates, we have a passion to create positive, lasting change for clients through education, consistency, and commitment to helping people achieve their goals. Through creative adaptations, we bring Pilates into your lifestyle at home or in the studio. We offer group mat classes, individual lessons, small group equipment classes, and online options. And now, we also offer an Iyengar yoga class, designed for all levels of practice.

Please note: because our classes are small and often fill up quickly, you will be charged for the class if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance.

Group Pilates Workout

$25 per class; book ahead to hold your spot

Experience a well-rounded Mat Pilates workout with props such as the magic circle, hand weights and resistance bands, and introduction to the Pilates equipment when class size permits. Some Pilates experience required.

  • 8:30am Monday
  • 9am  on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
  • 10am Saturday
  • 4:30pm Monday
  • 6pm Tuesday and Thursday
Intro to Pilates by Positively Pilates

Introduction to the Pilates System: Group Equipment Class

6 people maximum

$90 for first 4 consecutive classes, $25/class thereafter

 

This class is perfect for the beginner who is healthy and wants to work out on the Pilates equipment. It will prepare you to join any of the Group Pilates workouts or Personalized Equipment classes offered weekly. You will be given instruction on equipment safety & practice, learn the terminology of the Pilates principles, and apply these to each of the Pilates equipment in the system.

Pilates method

Personalized Equipment Classes

2-4 people

$35 per person

For those who are looking for hands-on adjustments, individual corrections and workouts that complement participants’ individual needs and goals. You will gain strength with and enjoy the camaraderie of the small group while working towards your personal goals in a supportive environment.

Private Pilates Lessons

Note: For all private and semi-private lessons, sessions are booked at a time when you and the instructor are available

Private Lesson

$85 for 55 minutes/$240 for a 4 class package ($80/session)

$45 for 30 minutes

New to exercise or the Pilates method? Not interested in group classes? Need assistance getting onto the equipment due to injury, illness or aging? Or do you want to make Pilates your “sport” and learn all the apparatus and classical exercises (even the obscure and athletic exercises not commonly taught in the Pilates System?). Private lessons are for you!

Semi Private

$60 per person/$220 for a 4 class package ($55/session)

55 minutes for 2-3 people. Work out with others at a similar fitness level as you for a fun & challenging workout designed to meet the goals of all participants.

Live Zoom lessons offered

Can’t come in person due to time constraints, traffic, etc.  We offer live trainings over Zoom utilizing mat work and small equipment.

“The thing I love about Jeanette’s class is that she tailors everything for her clients–even with many clients in one class.  She is always assessing us, making sure we are correctly positioned and working optimally–gently suggesting repositioning. Jeanette Henry yoga classes

Iyengar Yoga Classes

Iyengar Yoga is the art and science of yoga as taught by BKS Iyengar, who first utilized props such as the yoga block, bolster and rope wall.  This type of yoga teaches the poses in a way that makes yoga accessible to all, regardless of fitness, age and health.

  • 4pm every Thursday.
  • Mixed level yoga appropriate for beginners and those more experienced, or who are new to the Iyengar method.
